’మాంగల్యానికి మరోముడి’ సినీమాకి దర్శకుడు కె.విశ్వనాథ్. నేను రాసిన చిత్రం అది. అందులో నాకిష్టమైన పాత్ర ఒకటి ఉంది. ఆ పాత్రని గిరిజ చేసింది. నాలుగయిదు వాటాలున్న లోగిలి అది. అల్లు రామలింగయ్య, మిగతా ఎందరో అద్దెలకుంటున్నారు. ఒక ఇంట్లో భార్యా భర్తలున్నారు. భార్య సావిత్రి. మహా పతివ్రత. ఆమె భర్తని సినీమాలో ఎప్పుడూ చూపలేదు. ఒక గొంతు మాత్రం వినిపిస్తూ ఉంటుంది.

ఏమిటో 'ప్రాతివత్యాలు, నమ్మకాలు, మతాచారాలు ' ఇత్యాది వాటికి కూడా కోర్టులు దిశానిర్దేశాలు ఇస్తున్నాయి.
ReplyDeleteమతం పేరు తో దారుణాలు, దౌర్జన్యాలు చేసేవారికి ఉపశమన వేదిక గా తయారయ్యాయి.
చట్టం పరిధి లోని వాటిని వక్రించి అన్యాయాలు చేసేవారికి కొమ్ము కాస్తున్నాయి.
ఫోర్త్ ఎస్టేట్ అని మీడియాని కూడా ఆ కోవలో కి చేర్చడం వల్ల, రాజకీయాలు, న్యాయస్థానాల లాగ టీవీలు, వార్తాపత్రికలు కూడా రకరకాల అభిప్రాయాలనీ, లేనిపోని వాస్తవాలనీ (?) మన మీద రుద్దుతున్నాయి.

very pathetic. (more pathetic will be the situation of Arundhati Roy if she attempts to talk there like how she talks here. it's shame on the central government that said that a case on her regarding her remarks on Kashmir would weaken the peace talks.)

ReplyDeleteA well written article. I very much enjoyed the narration through the audio. I often wonder why such a bestiality appears in man. Girls are tagged as "weaker" since childhood. There may be some biological reasons. But the very fact that a man's thinking is conditioned by such half-baked ideas is repulsive. It is equivalent to saying he has stopped thinking and acting by reason. We worship a lot of goddesses in the Hindu pantheon and yet our fellow brethren go home and beat the wives and daughters. This seems to be one of the ironies in our existence. These two might be a cause and effect too. We worship so many goddesses because we are irreverent towards our women.
