చాలా బాగా వివరించారు.''వీళ్లెవరినీ ఎన్నుకోను'' అని వోటరు చెప్పగలిగే ఒక కాలమ్‌ని పెట్టగలిగితే మనదేశంలో ఎన్నికలంటేనే విసుగొచ్చిన అందరూ దానినే ఎన్నుకుంటారేమో.
ReplyDeletePeople think that, there are only two or three parties in the country, and many people won't consider any other candidate as a candidate at all. That is the biggest problem during the elections.
ReplyDeleteIn most of the constituencies, there are more than 10 candidates from small parties or independents. And, good candidates are contesting in many constituencies. Without voting for them, if we are going to bring the suggested changes in 49 O, it will disrupt the democracy very seriously. If the no.of votes for 49 O are more than the winner, and if we are going to disqualify the winner for life, it also means (or by implicitly), we are going to disqualify any candidate who are going to get less no.of votes than 49 O. It would stop most of the small leaders from contesting in the elections for life.
If everyone is going to vote for the least corrupted person in the election among all the candidates (including from small parties and independents), automatically, system will change. As long as we are going to change from Karunanidhi to Jayalalitha and Jayalalitha to Karunanidhi, why will they ever stop corruption. They are very sure that, they will win again after 5 years.
