1971లో 'అండర్సన్ టేప్స్' అనే హాలీవుడ్ చిత్రం వచ్చింది. జేంస్ బాండ్గా నటించిన షాన్ కోనరీ దొంగ. ఒక అపార్టుమెంటునంతా దోచుకోడానికి పన్నాగం చేస్తాడు. కొన్ని నెలలపాటు దొంగతనానికి ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తాడు. అతను చేసే ప్రతీపనీ - గవర్నమెటులో ఏదో విభాగాంకి తెలుస్తోంది. కారణం - అతను సంప్రదించిన అన్నిసంస్థల, వ్యక్తుల టెలిఫోన్లను ఆయా విభాగాల డిపార్టుమెంటుల నిఘా ఉంది కనుక. అయితే అన్ని వి భాగాల సమాచారాన్ని కలిపే ఆస్కారం లేదు. ఏర్పాటు లేదు. కనుక దొంగతనం గవర్నమెంటుకి తెలియలేదు. నెలల తర్వాత పధకం ప్రకారం దొంగతనం ప్రారంభమయింది. మరో అరగంటలో తప్పించుకుంటాడనగా - ప్రభుత్వం మేలుకుంది. దొంగని పట్టుకుంది. అదీ కధ.

That is why the election symbols should be completely outlandish. Congress party has hand as signal. What should be done during the election time to the hands of that party leaders' hands!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIn USA they do not have Donkeys and Elephants. These two animals are alien to them. Therefore, above two animals were taken as election symbols for the two parties (they have two party democracy and we have splinter party democracy).
So, in India also our honourable Election Commission should scrap all the election symbols given and start giving completely alien and outlandish things as symbols. A search of more than 100 to 200 symbols are required in India, like Wolf, Giraffe, python, Rhino(excepting in north eastern states),etc.
Or, it is still better if close up photo of the candidate itself should be his election symbol. It will help only such fellow who is well known by his face gets votes and there shall not be any prejudice like voting for cycle symbol as the voter daily rides it, or voting for Cow symbol as it is devotional for Hindus, or for hand as the vote is cast by hand only etc. etc.
