గతమెంతొ ఘనకీర్తి

ఈ మధ్య టీవీలో ఏదో ఛానల్‌లో ఓ సరదా అయిన కార్యక్రమాన్ని చూశాను. రామబాణం అణ్వస్త్రమా? ఆ విస్ఫోటనానికీ నిన్నకాక మొన్న (పోనీ 77 సంవత్సరాల కిందటి) విస్ఫోటనానికీ ఏమైనా పోలికలున్నాయా అంటూ ఎన్నో చిత్రాలు, రుజువులతో ఓ కార్యక్రమాన్ని ప్రసారం చేశారు. ఇదేమిటి దేశం ఇంత వెనక్కు పోతోందా అని ఆశ్చర్యపోయాను. ఇంతలో ఈ ’దైవ కణం ’ ప్రసక్తి. వివరాలు మనకి చాలా అర్థం కావు.

    చెట్టు క్రింద తవ్వి ఆ చెట్టుకు మూలమైన విత్తనాన్ని వెతికినట్టు !

    Finding Higgs boson is a scientific discovery. what Religion has to do with it?

    Peter Higgs was unhappy with Higgs Boson being referred as God particle by popular media. According to Wikipedia and other sources, the name god particle is tossed by Leon Lederman in his Popular Science book "The God Particle: If the Universe Is the Answer, What Is the Question?"

    What we should really be proud as Indians is in Higgs boson the name 'Boson' was named after an Indian scientist 'Satyendra Nath Bose'.
